Offecct’s head office is in Sweden but the company is also based throughout Europe and the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Africa and Hong Kong. Offecct’s headquarters, including a factory and showroom, were re-designed in 2005 by Claesson Kovisto Rune Architects. The front of the building with it’s 16,647 plastic insert featuring the company logo, was named Tibro’s ‘foremost design building’ in 2007.
Offecct’s current range of office furniture includes some absolutely stunning easy chairs; their Float High range is a fantastic example of well-designed, eye-catching office furniture that would make a real talking point in even the most stylish of office reception areas. Their Bond High chair is a classic executive chair with a modern twist, whilst the Mono Light range of chairs would look great grouped around a board table or an a meeting room.
Offecct also manufacture a stunning range of tables; including conference tables, desks and occasional tables. A strong part of their range comprises of really stylish acoustic panels which are a great way to reduce unwanted office noise whilst adding an interesting design feature whilst their room divider range includes the incredible ‘Cloud’: a self-inflating portable ‘room’ that can be used for meetings and then packed away!
Concern for the environment is hugely important to Offecct and has led them to develop a very impressive set of eco-credentials. Working on a three-tier principle covering social, financial and ecological development, Offecct strive to work with sustainable development. Designing products manufactured from recycled materials that have a long life cycle is a key element of their environmental policy, together with minimising any impact on the environment that may be caused by their manufacturing processes, reducing the use of resources and improving energy efficiency.
