Sedus was founded in Waldshut am Hochrhein in 1871. Because of continuous growth and expansion efforts as well as an increase in manufacturing demands, in the 1960s the original location in was deemed to be too small and the company has since relocated to much larger premises. The company was originally run the Stroll family, and was founded by Mr Albert Stroll. Sedus has now been turned into a public limited company and has developed into an internationally known brand.
